Events/Formats

PAPER WRITING RULES

The minimum length of submitted papers should not be less than 2 A4 size pages. Manuscripts shorter than 2 pages will not be evaluated at the Congress and will be rejected immediately. Standard Papers should be a maximum of 8 A4 size pages, including references.

 

Submitted papers must be presented from unpublished studies that have not been evaluated for publication in other journals or conferences.

 

All submitted papers will be evaluated by an independent referee in terms of quality, accuracy, originality and appropriateness. Acceptance/Rejection notifications will be sent to all authors via e-mail. In terms of the referee process, it is important that abstracts be sent first.

 

Details regarding the abstract submission process are described on the "Application Page”.

 

An acceptance letter for each paper accepted after passing the referee process will be sent to the authors. As stated in this acceptance letter, authors are expected to pay the necessary participation fees within the framework of the rules described on the fees page and upload their receipts to the system from the "My Applications Page".

 

Papers accepted, submitted and final corrections made after presentation will be included in the IDSSC 2024 Proceedings Book with ISBN and will be accessible online.

 

Papers should be prepared in Word or LaTex format; Abstracts should be prepared in Word format in accordance with the provided sample texts.

 

Presentation of Paper

The authors of all accepted articles will be provided with the opportunity to present their papers at the Congress or Remotely (online).

 

Paper presentation time is limited to 15 (fifteen) minutes, including the questions and answers.

 

On-line papers will be presented via the network link that will be provided by the Congress.

 

Copyright Transfer

Author(s) of each article must sign the copyright assignment form and submit it with the final version of the article they accept. The copyright transfer form will be made available to all authors of accepted papers after notifications of acceptance are sent.

PANEL FORMAT

A summary introduction letter of maximum 200 words for the Panel Session topic must be sent to tid@turkistatistik.org.tr in WORD or PDF file format.

 

Short biographies of both the participant making the proposal and the proposed participants should be presented.

 

The duration of Panel Sessions is 1 hour. Each Panel Session will include a maximum of 4 speakers.

WORKSHOP FORMAT

A summary introduction letter for the proposed workshop, including the topic title, duration, target audience, estimated number of participants, and general outlines of the content, must be sent to tid@turkistatistik.org.tr in WORD or PDF file format.

 

A list of similar workshops held in recent years (if any) should be submitted.

 

A brief CV of the expert or educator should be submitted.

 

The duration of the workshop can vary from 0.5 days to 2 days.

TRAINING FORMAT

A summary introductory letter containing the subject title, duration, target audience, estimated number of participants, and general outlines of the proposed training must be sent to tid@turkistatistik.org.tr in WORD or PDF file format.

 

A list of similar trainings held in recent years (if any) should be submitted.

 

A brief CV of the expert or educator should be submitted.

 

The duration of the training can vary from 0.5 days to 2 days.

CASE STUDY/HANDS-ON WORKSHOP FORMAT

A summary introduction letter, including the subject title, duration, target audience, estimated number of participants, and general outlines of the proposed case/workshop studies, should be sent in WORD or PDF file format to tid@turkistatistik.org.tr.

 

A brief CV of the expert or educator should be submitted.

 

The duration of case study/hands-on workshop studies can vary from 0.5 days to 2 days.

B2B FORMAT

Startups, companies looking for investors, industry experts and investors can participate in the closed and privately organized 1-day B2B event. Participation will be limited to 50 companies

 

Participants will be able to meet the most accurate investors, potential customers and business partners at the event, via the application form and artificial intelligence-supported B2B matching application. In this matchmaking, which will be limited to a maximum of 12 people, 6-minute introduction sessions will be held at the tables.

 

Participants will be given 10 minutes of presentation time to introduce products, services and companies.

* Selection process of applications will be based on the scientific and technical attractiveness of the topics, its potential to attract the attention of IDSSC 2024 participants, and the overall balance in the congress program.
